Students wearing the Empathy Belly

 The Empathy Belly give the students the opportunity to feel what it is like to be 9 months pregnant. Here are pictures of student wearing the belly and a comment from them about what it was like or what someone might have said to them.


Sashmere said, "After I was done wearing it my back and whole body was in pain".

Harley said, "I got worn out from just standing up. It was just plain exhausting".

Gabe said," Wearing the pregnant belly was a life changing experience of course because I'm a guy".

Miranda said, "A teacher in the hall stopped in her tracks to say, 'Please tell me that is not a real baby'".

Alina said, "One of the main things that really stuck about the belly is that is twas heavy and super hot and made me sweat."





Maddy said, "When I was wearing the belly the problems I had a hard time walking up the steps".

Kelsey said, "People said things to me like, The baby sure did grow fast or Wow, I can't believe that."

 Addison said, "I believe that babies are completely worth the pain that a girl has to go through."

Amber said, "When I wore it, I quickly realized it was going to be a long three hours. I had always though women were over exaggerating. I have definitely learned my lesson."

Solomon said, "It showed me a little of what it was like for a girl to be pregnant."
